If you love stationery, you might want to check these stores in Malaysia that we love. The shops are not arrange in any particular order. We think that each shop has its own specialty and characteristic. So, there is no need for ranking.
1. Stickerrific
Stickerrific has been one of the go-to stationery/art supply shop, mainly because it has almost all the supplies and variety of options for each category. You can get most of the major brands here. The star of the shop isn’t any stationery nor art supply, but the resident cats in the shop. Everyone just adores how cool these two furry shopkeepers are.

2. Tabiyo
If you love Japanese stationery, Tabiyo is one of the best shop to go to. They stock most of the Japanese brand journals such as Travelers Notebook, MD, Tomoe River notebooks, Midori, etc.

3. Smidapaper
Smidapaper is pretty similar with Stickerrific, except they stock up lesser products. That is because Smidapaper has another sister-shop which is Ikigai (below) that carries more items. Smidapaper is located inside Gurney Plaza Mall which is convenient for shoppers.

4. Ikigai Shop
Ikigai Shop is a sister company of Smidapaper, but the space is much bigger space with more stuff. There is also a workshop space. It is more of a studio than a shop, but of course, you can purchase stationery here.

5. Writer Store
There are 2 Writer Stores. To clear off the confusion – one is located in Gurney Plaza Penang (yup, there are 2 stationery stores in Gurney Plaza). And another shop is a standalone shop in Campbell street.

6. Sumthings of Mine
Previously Sumthings of Mine has a physical store in Nilai. However, there’s no information whether the store still exists or not. But rest assured, they are still very active online and the online store constantly updated with new products.

7. Cziplee
Cziplee is probably one of the earlier stationery store that has been importing reputable stationery brands from around the world. The store only gets bigger with security guards watching your every move in the store. Personally, I don’t mind the guards, but it can feel rather awkward while taking extra time to study the products.

8. Pen Gallery
Pen Gallery was situated in the heart of KL city somewhere in Chinatown. But the company has moved to a quieter neighbourhood in SS2 (good news for shoppers) for a few years now. Like the name suggested, this shop sells mostly writing instruments, inks and writing accessories. You can find collectible writing instrument here as well.

9. Scrap-n-Crop
Scrap-n-Crop is one of the biggest art supply shop in Malaysia, but it is not as hyped as other names. The shop sells mainly art supplies that cater to the serious users, but of course, as a scrapbooker or journaler, you can also find some deals there.

10. My Paper Projects
My Paper Projects is mixed of everything. They have their own designed stationery such as rubber stamp, stickers, etc. But they are also a community by itself. Follow their Instagram and you will find some journal jam sessions or classes conducted by MPP.
